You will report to our Head, Global Business Development. Your main tasks will be:

Team  contribution

You will contribute to the BD&L team, and the policy of Business Developpement, create the conditions for its success, contribute to its cohesion, encourage transversal collaboration, propose partnership opportunities.

Business Development

You will lead the deal/transaction for various business development deals from licensing–in to distribution-in to production acquisition or divestments.

You will be responsible for sourcing opportunistes from partnering conferences, scientific & medical meetings, industry networks.

  • Evaluation: You must work interdisciplinary and in collaboration with the relevant departments, taking into account the predefined target product portfolio and you will identify, review and assess new product and technology license and acquisition opportunities and develop recommendations to the Group and relevant stakeholders.
  • Execution: you will lead of the cross-functional deal team, responsible for negotiating term sheets and execution of the definitive agreements, including managing the internal deal review and approval process.

Alliance Management

You will lead and provide smooth transition from once the deal is signed to its implementation, working closely with Project Managers.

You will follow the implementation of a deal with the legal team.

You will be the primary conduit/contact with external partner in representing, protecting and promoting Group interests.

You will identify, establish and manage strategic alliance relationships with academia/industrial research organizations and biotechnology/biopharma companies in Europe.

You will identify regional sources for collaboration and co-funding of research collaborations.

Group Strategy

You will contribute to the formulation of the Group's strategy through its knowledge of the industry trends, product evolution, customer needs and partnership opportunities.

Partnership Image of the Group

Through interactions with potential and existing partners, you will develop and drive, in close collaboration with the subsidiaries and other departments, an image of the Group as preferred partner.

Profil requis

You are graduated from a business development MBA, VetMD/DVM, PhD or JD degree.

You have an experience of 7-10 years of progressive business development and/or alliance management, preferably in the animal health or human health.

Your english is fluent and ideally you skeap french and another european language.

You have a strong negotiation - Understand and accommodating the needs of partners involved and confidentiality.

Your open mind and ability to convince in a multidisciplinary project context internally and externally are recognized.

You have strong business acumen and business opportunity analysis skills and development of new business cases .
